Welcome

Hi there! I’m so excited to bring you along on this journey with our special needs kiddos, and I can’t wait to spread awareness about their unique diagnosis. We’ve learned so much along the way and continue to learn every single day.

Let me start off first by introducing my family, the Chapmans, or the Courageous Chapmans, as I like to call us. I’m Candice, the one who keeps our chaos somewhat coordinated, Eric is my husband and sometimes more like my third child (ladies, you know what I’m talking about ; -)), but truthfully he is my rock and I don’t know what I’d do without him, and our two beautiful children are Hadley, our seven-year-old daughter, and Gipson, our four-year-old son. Hondo, TX is where we call home and love to spend time outside playing in the water or riding around the property on our golf cart.

Eric and I met through a mutual friend, then started dating in 2010. TV producers would love our “meet cute,” but you’ll have to wait for the next blog to get all the juicy details.

Hadley, our firstborn and little warrior, arrived at 7:05AM on July 14, 2014. Gipson, the newest warrior member of our clan, graced us with his presence at 6:29AM on May 10, 2017. My pregnancies had many challenges, and Hadley and Gipson’s births weren’t without complications. But hey, I don’t call us the Courageous Chapmans for nothing. More details are coming soon.
